Our peaceful cottage is just a short drive to downtown Arcata. It has a full kitchen for dining in at home for a cozy romantic dinner. It is furnished for lounging in the living room or napping on the queen size bed. The cottage is tucked back off the road with parking off the street and feels like it is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Our cottage has everything you need on your stay to feel at home, with books and a little desk. The dining table is next to the window so you can look out over the yard, or take your cup of coffee to the porch and listen to the morning unfolding.
Arcata has a lot to offer with lots of live music, Arts Arcata once a month, two unique movie theaters that show classics and documentaries as well as the latest movies. There is a Farmers Market every Saturday all year round. There are two health food stores, Wildberries and the Co-Op. There is also a little market and shopping center just down the street from the cottage. You can go grocery shopping, to the hardware store, a second hand store or you can get a facial at the salon.
